The roomie and I went to a creaive fair and at a bargain bin, I was lucky to grab two skeins of Lana Grossa's unfortunately discontinued yarn Setanova, which has to be the finest yarn I ever worked with. I'm a sucker for silk, I'll admit.
And because the colors looked nice together and the quality was about the same, I saved a skein of 100% seta as well, thinking the two would look lovely in a little shawlette.
Two days of knitting later, I'm proud to present Rosewater Hag:
Named after one of my favorite games, Dishonoered, Rosewater Hag is a wonderful mix of old and new. The rose-tinted lace meets a cheeky, bold irregular border, interlaced with an asymmetric pattern. A beautiful little crochet border holds everything together nicely.Consisting of only two skeins, it was the perfect little project for in-between.
Considering I have some yarn left, I might add pulsewarmers in the same fashion, or maybe just extend the shawl for another border. For now though, I'm happy, and will go back to knitting sweaters for a while.
